We empower our community to prototype faster and more efficiently by coupling rapid access to tools with supportive infrastructure through an ecosystem of shops and labs. Our facilities are accessible 24-hours per day, feature over $5M of state-of-the-art equipment, and employ a specialized team.

We offer consultations, modular curricula, fabrication services and promote lateral thinking while providing exposure to new ideas and techniques with their logical application to help hone ideas into manufacturable products.

We collaborate with and invest alongside top-tier funds with deep domain expertise—with an investor and partner network of over 400 organizations, including AlleyCorp, Google X, and New York Angels. Newlab also hosts quarterly pitch days and pitch feedback sessions which provide strategic guidance through the fundraising process.

Newlab frequently connects member companies with corporate and civic partners for business development opportunities.

Pilot Opportunities with Corporate and Civic Partners

Newlab partners with leading corporations through our Innovations Studios; collaborators include Ford, Verizon, Union Pacific, Nike, and the New York City Economic Development Corporation. These Studios create a real impact across industries and cities while delivering members opportunities to test and pilot their technologies in real-world environments and scale their businesses.

Newlab encourages companies to submit an application for membership if they are applying transformative technologies to tackle challenges, advancing solutions that will positively impact the world, have a viable product, a clear roadmap, and are eager to contribute to the Newlab community.
