New Lab City: A Global Public-Private Partnership Program

New Lab City creates public-private partnerships to bring together innovators and cities in meaningful ways.

New Lab was made possible with visionary support from public and private partners. Today, we continue to build on this foundation with partners who believe that fostering a deeper connection between cities and entrepreneurs will yield important advances in technology that help to foster a more sustainable, resilient, and accessible future.

Urban Tech Hub NYC

New Lab is a committed partner of the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) as part of its Urbantech NYC initiative. The Urban Tech Hub at New Lab is a joint program that fosters growth-stage companies that are making cities more sustainable, resilient, and livable.

We welcome growth-stage urban tech companies to apply to become part of the Urban Tech Hub by indicating their interest on our membership application.

New Lab City: Streets

New Lab works with public partners to create opportunities for new technology to be piloted in real urban environments. A program in partnership with the Brooklyn Navy Yard makes it possible for New Lab's urban tech companies to test their products in their own backyard.

New Lab City: Brooklyn

Expanding New Lab's entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit beyond its walls, New Lab City:Brooklyn is a platform for making Brooklyn a living, learning lab where products and new approaches for addressing urban challenges are piloted and iterated in real-time.

Global New Lab City Partnerships

As we develop a global network of partners we're working with Copenhagen, Denmark and Barcelona, Spain to catalyze new ways for cities and entrepreneurs to collaborate.
