We're proud to highlight the exciting events hosted by our members during New York City's Tech Week this year. Newlab member startups Project B, AirTulip, itselectric, and CLIP are hosting events showcasing innovations in clean air, fashion tech, and sustainable mobility.
On June 4, AirTulip, a company developing smart headboards that create a local bubble of clean air, hosted a happy hour where they demonstrated their latest suite of products at Newlab Brooklyn. Attendees enjoyed learning about cutting-edge air purification technologies, getting a firsthand look at AirTulip's headboards displayed on a bed on the Newlab mezzanine.
Project B, a Newlab Founder Fellowship 2024 startup, is hosting a happy hour showcasing companies in the FashionTech space whose products range from wearables to sustainable materials to AI tools. The networking event, taking place at Newlab Brooklyn, is designed to explore how the fashion industry is leveraging technology to craft sustainable, on-demand solutions.
Newlab member startups in the mobility space are ending Tech Week with a morning bike ride from Clinton Hill to Dumbo. Attended by key stakeholders in the Brooklyn clean transportation ecosystem, the event consists of a ride through the Brooklyn Greenway with stops along the way for participants to to meet headline makers in the mobility space. A raffle will be held for a CLIP plug-and-play e-bike attachment.
